Memory Work

Memory will be introduced to the class on Monday, practiced throughout the week, and tested on Friday. Please help your child (and yourself) to plant God's words in their heads and in their hearts.

 

August 29 – September 2 “They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness” Psalm 145:7

 September 6 – 9 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Proverbs 3:5 

September 12 – 16 “The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 

September 19 – 23 “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 

September 26 – 30 No Memory Work

 October 3 – 7 The 1st Commandment – You shall have no other gods.

 October 11 -14 The 2nd Commandment – You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

October 17 – 21 The 3rd Commandment – Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 

 October 24 – 28 The 4th Commandment – Honor your father and your mother.

                   The 5th Commandment – You shall not murder. 

October 31 – November 4 The 6th Commandment – You shall not commit adultery.  

                               The 7th Commandment – You shall not steal.

November 7 – 11 No Memory Work - Testing

 November 14 – 18 The 8th Commandment – You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
