Illinois History Fair Project

All Eighth graders are required to participate in the Illinois History Fair held at the same time as the Science Fair.  Each student will be creating a display, putting together a research project and presenting their projects to the class.  The research project is the finished project from answering six reference questions.

I will give two sample research projects for the students to work through.  Each question must be answered in complete sentences and paragraphs.  Some questions will require at least a one page answer.  For the final draft all answers must be typed.  These questions make up the bulk of the written project and should NOT be part of the project they create.

Students are encouraged to add pictures, maps, drawings or illustrations to the

36 x 48 display board that must accompany their written research.   Students are free to create a model, include clothing, edible items or anything that would help to explain their project.
