A Little About Miss Johnson

My name is Andrea Johnson, and this is my second year at Zion.  I graduated from Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA). I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.  I was a Math major, and I also have my Lutheran Teacher's Diploma.  I coach the Girls Basketball A team and the Boys Volleyball team, and Girls Volleyball A Team; I love my teams!

I am originally from Indianapolis, IN, and my parents still live there.  My mom is currently teaching at the Lutheran School I attended growing up, and my dad taught in Lutheran schools for the past 34 years.   I have 3 older sisters, and 2 brothers-in law. One of my sisters is also a Lutheran school teacher, so it is definitely in my blood to be a teacher as well! I have a 10-year-old nephew, and he is a great joy and blessing in my life.  I also have a 10-year-old black labrador named Angel who I love to pieces, but she lives with my parents.

I am blessed in that I have attended Lutheran schools my entire life.  I attended St. John Lutheran School in Indianapolis for K-8, and Lutheran High School of Indianapolis for my entire high school career.  I then went on to CUAA for my college career.

I'm a huge sports fanatic.  I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school, and I played basketball at CUAA my freshman year.  I love watching sports as well.  I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.  I don't necessarily follow any MLB teams, but I like to keep my eyes on the Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds, as well as the Cardinals.

My other hobbies include photography, traveling, movie-watching, and spending time with my friends and family.
