Field Trip Information
We will take several field trips this year. They include: Outdoor Education in September, a trip to see a play in December, Hidden Valley in January, Springfield/Lincoln sites in April, and a fun final trip at the very end of the year. Watch for more information in the Classroom Times as the dates get closer.
Outdoor Education Equipment and Clothing Checklist
ITEMS TO BRING:
____Large sack lunch for the first day including a drink. (I will have a small cooler for drinks.)
____Clothing for two days. Be sure to wear/bring older clothes. Also be sure to have long pants.
____Jacket or sweatshirt (or both)
____Sleepwear
____Sleeping bag and pillow or sleeping gear. You will be sleeping on a bunk bed with a mattress.
____Toiletries. Toothbrush, soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc. Everyone will be scheduled to take a shower.
____Shoes. 1 pair for outside walking (old ones are ok). 1 pair sandals for shower/cabin
____Towel/washcloth
____Writing supplies. Pocket folder, paper, sharpened pencils
____Rain gear (poncho, etc. An umbrella must fit in the suitcase.)
ITEMS TO BE LEFT AT HOME:
Cd players, video games, and other electronic equipment
Cell phones
Money. There is no place to spend it
Toys, nuisance items, etc
Food for cabin
Anything that takes up more than one suitcase for each student!
OPTIONAL ITEMS:
____Insect repellent ____HAT
____Camera ____Sunscreen
____Shorts ____Card game(s)
____Flashlight
Bring these items to school on Monday, September 26…when we leave!
