Extended Care
Zion Lutheran School provides before and after school care for students whose parents need a secure, Christian atmosphere for their children.
Before School
Miss Christie Norman is our Before School Care giver. She will be in the All Day-Three Year Old Room from 6:30 - 7:30 each school day. At 7:30, Preschool students will remain in that room. Older students will go to the gym. Mrs. Kristi Hofferber and Mrs. Lori Emde will also be helping.
The daily charge is $4.00 per student. 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. $2.00 per half hour per student.
7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. $2.00 per half hour per student
7:30 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. No Charge - Students are
supervised by a teacher in the gym.
After School
Mrs. Debbie Sivia is our lead caregiver. Mrs. Rosemary McCord is also supervising and stays until the last child is picked up. Courtney Ingersoll, Abby Killebrew, Rhiannon Callahan, and Aaron Roggow help in the Preschool room until those children are taken to the After School Care Room at 4:30.
Service is provided on regular school days when school is in session. Service for early dismissal may occur due to weather and other early dismissal days.
* Only children enrolled as students at Zion Lutheran School will be eligibe for enrollment.
Hours are from: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
After School Care closes at 6:00 p.m.
* Only parents or people whose names appear on the emergency card are able to pick up the children.
* The parent or authorized person must daily sign the child out.
* All students will be placed in After School Care if they are not picked up by 3:15 p.m.
* Any student remaining at school after 3:15 must go to after school care and parents will be charged accordingly.
* All families must fill out an application for the program.
Daily charge for After school care is $10.00.
3:00 - 3:30 No charge
3:30 - 4:00 $2.00 per half hour per student
4:00 - 4:30 $2.00 per half hour per student
4:30 - 5:00 $2.00 per half hour per student
5:00 - 5:30 $2.00 per half hour per student
5:30 - 6:00 $2.00 per half hour per student
There will be a charge of $5.00 per fifteen minutes for students picked up after 6 p.m.
Daily sign in and out sheets are kept. Billing for the service for the previous week will go out each Monday to the parents showing the charge for the previous week. Payment should be made by that Friday.
