Band opportunities are available for students in fifth through eighth grade with Mr. Eric Hipple, Band instructor at Metro-East Lutheran High School.  

     Cadet Band and semi-private lessons for beginners meet on Tuesday afternoons.

     Concert Band and semi-private lessons for sixth through eighth graders meet on Thursday afternoons.

Piano lessons are available with Mrs. Wiggenhorn during the school day.

IGSMA Solo & Ensemble Contest

   * If you are interested in participating in the IGSMA Solo & Ensemble Contest on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 you need to sign up on

      the sheet outside of the Band Room door.  Please do this by Dec. 1 so that music can be distributed before Christmas break!
